What is the role?
Brendoncare are looking for a Housekeeper to join our care home in Otterbourne, Hampshire. The spacious site near Chandler's Ford in Hampshire offers three interconnected services:
- Otterbourne Court: A care home providing personalised nursing and dementia care, as well as planned and emergency respite support.
- Otterbourne Mews: Dementia-friendly apartments for couples or individuals living with dementia.
- Otterbourne Club: A community hub where residents and local people can enjoy a range of facilities, activities and social opportunities.
Who are you?
We are seeking a Housekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.
What will I be doing?
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
- Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
- Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
- Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
- Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
