Are you a warm, organised and professional individual who enjoys meeting people and making a positive first impression? Brendoncare Stildon is looking for a friendly Receptionist to join our team and become the welcoming face and voice of our care home.

At Brendoncare Stildon, we provide residential and nursing care for up to 32 residents in a welcoming, home-like environment. We are dedicated to supporting each individual to maintain their independence, dignity and choice while enjoying a vibrant community built on care, compassion, friendship and respect.

As our Receptionist, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day life of the home, ensuring visitors, residents, relatives and colleagues receive a professional and heartfelt welcome at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming visitors and ensuring they have a positive experience in the home
• Answering and directing telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing the reception area and supporting the smooth running of the home
• Assisting with administrative tasks, correspondence and record keeping
• Supporting colleagues with general office duties
• Building positive relationships with residents, relatives, visitors and external professionals
• Helping to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents can thrive

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
• A strong communicator with excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively
• Reliable, flexible and committed to providing outstanding customer service
• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
