We are now looking for an experienced Spa Manager to lead the spa and help shape its next chapter. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the spa, from marketing and promotions to programming, memberships, operational standards, team development and training. You will play a central role in delivering a first-class spa and wellbeing experience in which every step of the guest journey feels effortless, considered and quietly luxurious, so that each guest leaves relaxed, restored and looking forward to their return.

The role
As Spa Manager, you will oversee all areas of the department and manage and develop the team to consistently achieve their targets, stepping in to deliver treatments when required.
Commercial performance
Delivering spa revenue targets and managing the departmental budget, including payroll and cost control Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, including treatment room utilisation, average spend, retail sales and membership numbers Driving retail sales of the Source Spa product range Growing and retaining spa memberships Planning and delivering promotions, spa packages and events in partnership with the hotel's sales and marketing team Managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
Team leadership
Recruiting, inducting and training therapists, receptionists and spa attendants Producing staff rotas that balance guest demand with labour costs Conducting regular one-to-ones, appraisals and performance management Maintaining treatment standards and protocols, including consultation and contraindication procedures
Operations and compliance
Maintaining agreed operational standards throughout the spa and resolving any issues promptly and effectively Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments, COSHH and pool and thermal water testing and records Overseeing the spa booking system and ensuring accurate scheduling and record keeping Carrying out opening and closing procedures when on duty Monitoring guest feedback and online reviews, responding to and resolving guest concerns Leading by example in professionalism, attitude and presentation Ensuring all treatments and reception duties are delivered in line with Source Spa, hotel and Brend Collection procedures
About you
Essential:
Proven experience in a spa management A Level 3 qualification in Beauty or Spa Therapy or equivalent A track record of meeting revenue and retail targets Experience of managing rotas and stock A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding high standards of service
Desirable:
Experience of spa booking software Trybe Experience in a hotel spa Experience of managing a membership base
