I’m representing a tight-knit, forward-thinking consultancy that’s expanding its Fire Safety division within a wider team of Health & Safety, Building Regulations, and Principal Designer (PD/CDM) specialists. With over 20 years of industry expertise, this business has built a reputation for delivering practical, proactive, and design-led safety solutions. Now, due to growth, they’re looking for a talented Fire Engineer to provide design and project coordination support across a variety of clients and sectors.

The Role
  • Produce and review Fire Strategy Reports and fire engineering designs
  • Provide technical advice and fire risk guidance to clients, contractors, and design teams
  • Support compliance with UK Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and fire safety legislation
  • Undertake site visits, compliance reviews, and post-construction reporting
  • Work closely with Fire Safety, PD/BR, and H&S specialists to deliver coordinated design solutions
About You
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
  • IFE membership (or working towards it)
  • Strong understanding of BS 9991, BS 9999, CFD/CEM modelling, and Approved Document B
  • Confident communicator with excellent report writing and advisory skills
  • Experience in a fire consultancy or multidisciplinary environment
