We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected, design‑led construction firm delivering luxury residential refurbishments and bespoke builds across London. With a Hertfordshire‑based office and a reputation for collaboration, technical excellence, and meticulous attention to detail, the company offers a supportive environment for commercial professionals who take pride in quality delivery.

This role offers the chance to take commercial lead on multiple high‑end residential projects – typically valued up to £5m – while working closely with an Assistant QS and wider project teams. You’ll play a key role in driving profitability, managing risk, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial management for 3–4 live London‑based projects.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations, and financial reporting.
  • Work alongside clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Influence commercial strategy and protect margins throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high‑end or super‑prime residential refurbishment/new‑build projects.
  • Strong understanding of the London residential market and JCT contract forms.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing environments.
  • Proactive, organised, and commercially driven.
