KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Are you a skilled watchmaker with a proven track record servicing luxury watches, come and join our exceptional Bremont service centre atelier team in the heart of Henley-on-Thames and become part of the operation dedicated to precision and craftsmanship, servicing timepieces.
Our Bremont service centre is renowned for delivering unparalleled service to clients worldwide who demand only the best. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and expertise, aligning with the legacy of English watchmaking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on timepieces to Bremont specifications.
- Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment provided within our fully equipped workshop.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets Bremont standards.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all services performed.
- Excellent communication skills to provide expert advice to our operation team regarding repairs of timepieces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with problem solving techniques.
- The ability to remain calm and focussed when under pressure.
- Able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
- A team player but also confident to work proactively without guidance.
- Provide repairs: Quick repairs when required (bracelet /Strap services-adjustments etc.) Partial repairs to the given level.
- Complete service – Hand-wound mechanicals and simple automatics.
- Complete service – Chronographs.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Education Preferred WOSTEP or similar diploma in watchmaking.
- Experience Minimum 3 years bench experience.
- Proven experience working on luxury timepieces.
- Strong understanding of horological principles and techniques.
- A passion for luxury watches and craftsmanship.
- Self-motivated.
- Dexterity, meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- 37.5 Hour per week
- Monday – Friday
- Onsite, The Wing, Henley-on-Thames
- Working autonomously, in a team technical team of 10 and wider department of 15.
- Probation process – 4 months standard
- Notice period – 2 months standard, increasing to 3 months after 2 years’ service.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
Stage 1
In person interview with Service Atelier Manager and Service Centre Manager
Timed bench test, including the disassembly, cleaning and servicing of a 3 handed movement.
Please allow one full day to conduct the interview and bench test.
Location: The Wing, Henley-on-Thames.
