KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Bremont Watch Company is looking to strengthen its marketing team by adding a Retail Marketing Manager for its owned stores ("Boutiques") globally. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-growing business with a strong identity and to make a considerable contribution. We are looking for an individual who has proven experience in luxury retail marketing, strong clienteling abilities and with a spark of creativity.
Our Boutiques across the world are a business-critical estate of truly premium touchpoints, personifying our brand and strongly influencing how clients feel about it. Buying into Bremont is about believing in the reinvigoration of British watch making, and the investment that Bremont has and continues to make to achieve this goal - and equally about being inspired to share in the brand's passions.
Bremont wishes its Boutiques to be industry-leading, customer-first, and appropriately premium environment - but also tangible drivers of ours and our relevant partners' financial success. Drawing on your previous retail marketing experience, we would like you to build a structured and comprehensive retail marketing strategy for these stores, appropriate to both the Bremont brand and their market locations. You will review what Bremont has done to date, and work with all necessary colleagues and stakeholders to create forward-facing enhancement plans.
You will be responsible for the execution and delivery of yearly and quarterly retail marketing strategies for the Boutiques and introduce tactics that ensure you deliver them. You will support the day-to-day marketing needs of our Boutiques, including but not limited to sponsorship deployment, events, PR, advertising, social and CRM and will create insightful reporting, visibly championing the use of data-driven activities across our Boutiques and more widely. The role will involve a level of travel, most likely around events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-create, execute and maintain marketing calendars across markets.
- Deliver sales-enhancing marketing activations, strongly supporting Boutiques at key periods annually.
- Develop and deploy best practice performance analysis, reporting and sharing in a rolling PDCA cycle.
- Continually seek and leverage available, appropriate data to generate actionable business insights.
- Continuously seek opportunities to maximise the depth and quality of end-consumer customer journey insight derived from Boutiques - to drive preference, new and repeat sales, and long-term brand loyalty, using appropriately targeted assets and activities.
- Leverage all available owned and paid communication channels to drive business and brand performance in Boutiques: Bremont website, Bremont social, Bremont CRM, PR, OOH, events, etc.
- Drive and deliver best-in-class Visual Merchandising and POS executions, working closely with other Bremont Marketing colleagues and teams (Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales).
- Ideate, manage and execute in Boutique events across the year to support the marketing calendar.
- Review and improve existing processes and tools: day to day and for store-specific projects.
- Aligning consumer-facing experiences while understanding and respecting local retail best practices across our global estate.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
As an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence, you will build strong and effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and Boutiques managers and staff. You will have experience of working and delivering marketing campaigns within retail environments and have great commercial awareness. Your drive to exceed expectations will result in class-leading customer experience and satisfaction. You will have a high regard for standards, attention to detail and will have a creative approach to multi-channel marketing.
The ideal candidate will possess most, if not all, of the following competencies:
- Proven experience within, and of a, luxury retail marketing environment.
- Proven experience working with boutique and/or store teams.
- Proven hands-on experience in clienteling, and creating and managing clienteling strategies within a luxury retail marketing environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Good organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Degree educated (or equivalent).
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Good leadership skills and retail focused stakeholder management experience.
- Flexible and proactive approach.
- Deadline-driven & results focused.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and positive outlook.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Hybrid working, with HQ office based in Henley-on-Thames.
- Probation process 4 months standard.
- Notice period - 2 months up to 2 years service increasing to 3 from 2 years+.
- Salary up to £45,000 per annum.
