Key purpose of the role
The Front of House Receptionist is the face of Bremont, responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every visitor and employee. This is a high-profile and varied role where no two days are the same. It requires previous experience in a similar setting, strong multitasking ability, and the confidence to use initiative during busy periods, all while maintaining a positive environment and delivering first-class client service.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the opening and closing of the reception area at our Global HQ, The Wing
- Lead by example as a visible Brand Ambassador for all visitors and employees
- Greet visitors, manage bookings, and ensure a seamless onward experience
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a smooth and professional service
- Continuously look for ways to enhance the client experience, sharing ideas with the Head of CE to develop this important business function
- Provide encouragement, coaching, and support to the wider reception team
- Manage inbound telephone calls and emails, ensuring accurate and timely responses
- Facilitate the booking of meeting rooms, ensuring robust processes are in place and all provisions are prepared in advance
- Set up The Mess for staff lunches and manage catering requirements for external guests
- Guide temporary and permanent receptionists, ensuring they understand their daily responsibilities and are inspired to deliver at the highest standard
- Carry out weekly alarm tests and fulfil Fire Marshal duties
- Support event preparation, including ordering supplies and catering; attend evening events when required (with time off in lieu provided)
- Manage administrative tasks including stationery and refreshment ordering, as well as overseeing internal post deliveries
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to support the smooth running of reception and the wider business
Person specification
- Previous experience in a front-of-house, hospitality, or client-facing role within a professional or luxury environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
- Attention to detail, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a positive and flexible outlook
- Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
