Health, Safety and Environmental Administrator (IOSH or similar Health and Safety Qualification is required for this position) Leamington Spa

The role:

This is a Health, Safety and Environmental Administrator role supporting a busy manufacturing operation. The position is predominantly administrative but also includes regular shopfloor presence to support inspections, checks and day-to-day safety activities. You will play a key role in maintaining health, safety and environmental systems, ensuring documentation, records and compliance activities are accurate, up to date and well organised.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating health, safety and environmental documentation
  • Managing Excel trackers, logs and compliance records
  • Updating procedures, handbooks and internal systems
  • Maintaining noticeboards, signage and training matrices
  • Coordinating fire safety and first aid administration, including checks and records
  • Supporting audits, inspections and corrective action tracking
  • Issuing internal communications and meeting notes
  • Carrying out regular shopfloor checks and supporting basic risk assessments
  • Working closely with operational teams within a manufacturing environment

About you:

You will be highly organised, methodical and comfortable working with detail. You will enjoy structured administrative work but also be confident spending time on the shopfloor within a manufacturing or logistics environment. You are likely to have worked in roles such as:

  • Health & Safety Administrator
  • H&S Assistant
  • SHE Administrator
  • Compliance Administrator
  • Quality / ISO Administrator with health and safety exposure

Essential requirements:

  • IOSH qualification or another recognised Health & Safety qualification
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or logistics environment
  • Strong administrative skills with confidence using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience maintaining records, trackers and compliance documentation
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of administrative processes
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Exposure to risk assessments, audits or compliance systems
  • Experience working within an engineering or production-led environment
