The main focus will be on clearing a backlog of unallocated cash sitting on customer accounts — investigating, reconciling, and ensuring payments are matched accurately. If you enjoy problem solving, digging into the detail, and getting that satisfying sense of order back into the accounts, this is a great project to get involved with. What you’ll be doing: * Reviewing unallocated cash sitting on customer accounts * Accessing remittance information to identify which payments belong to which accounts * Contacting customers through Salesforce where remittances are missing * Reconciling and allocating payments accurately in SAP * Liaising with the Credit Control and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies * Helping to ensure customer ledgers are tidy, accurate, and up to date What we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (cash allocation, reconciliations, or credit control) * Confident working with large data sets and transaction volumes * Comfortable using systems – experience with SAP and/or Salesforce would be a real advantage * Strong communication skills for chasing remittances and liaising with customers * A methodical, accurate approach and an eye for the finer details Why you’ll enjoy it: You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive finance team who take pride in doing things properly. It’s a collaborative environment where you’ll have plenty of support while seeing the tangible results of your work as the ledgers are cleared and reconciled. INDL
