A superb opportunity has arisen to join a leading global supply chain organisation in the role of Carrier and Reporting Manager.
Job Purpose
As a Carrier & Reporting Manager, you will have ownership for the development, execution, quality and maintenance of the transport reporting covering inbound and outbound shipment, on behalf of their external customer. You will also be responsible for the operational management of the inbound & outbound carrier network, maintaining good relationships with carriers, ensuring service levels are continually monitored and meet customer needs whilst satisfying agreed performance levels.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop comprehensive and detailed reporting for the customer on all inbound and outbound shipments globally, covering all transport modes. Utilising various data sources to interrogate shipment visibility and to provide complete visibility to the customer with accuracy and quality.
- Support shipment tracking from a supplier or to a customer, through carrier booking, transport movement and final mile to customer receipt.
- Attend regular meetings with the customer and playback carrier performance metrics and root cause analysis (where applicable).
- Work closely with operational teams across the supply chain to identify and remove systematic failures to avoid service failures.
- Handle challenging daily operational issues, complete deep analysis and implementation of service improvement solutions aligned to the operational objective.

- Skilled in the use of data analysis tools to interpret issues or trends to provide insight and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer focus, eye for detail, strong team player, flexible and committed to achieving team/site objectives.
- Target/results driven.
- Confidence with, and competence in, dealing with multiple stakeholders across a range of management levels.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
