Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role based in North Tyneside (Wallsend, Tynemouth, Longbenton, Wideopen, Whitley Bay, Monkseaton, Cullercoats, North Shields, Dudley, Backworth and Shiremoor) as a Domiciliary Support Worker. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing personalized support to individuals, promoting their independence, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their physical and emotional well‑being.
• Adhering to safeguarding protocols and ensuring effective communication with people we support, team members, and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a support worker and strong technical support skills to aid individuals in daily living activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and foster positive relationships.
• Knowledge and practice of safeguarding principles and their application.
• Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment.
• Flexibility, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality care.
• Relevant training or certifications in health and social care are advantageous.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle will be an added advantage for the role.
