Come join our Volkswagen team at Van Mossel Breeze! We are looking for a talented Diagnostic Technician to join our Volkswagen Passenger Cars dealership in Poole.

Package Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00 pm
Pay: £36,000 to £39,000 (DOE) + £6,000 OTE
Role Description:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, communicating issues back to the workshop controller and completing additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors.
- Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment, following Brand guidelines.
- Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Maintain warranty procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults been reported and noted on the job cards.
Qualifications:
- Strong diagnostic skills, including the ability to diagnose complex faults and interpret diagnostic reports.
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to explain technical issues clearly and professionally to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant technical qualification in automotive technology or a related field (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and software within a dealership or professional workshop environment.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Full, valid driving license suitable for test-driving customer and company vehicles.
- Previous experience with Volkswagen Group or other main dealer brands is advantageous but not essential.
