Package
- Basic salary: £32,000 to £36,000 (dependent on experience)
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (NO WEEKENDS)
Job Description & Qualifications
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs, predominantly on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and communicating issues to the workshop controller
- Conducting additional repair work as advised by managers
- Document and record repair work in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines
- Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing and repairs are carried out thoroughly, to the highest quality following Brand guidelines
- Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
- Assist and train your colleagues through mentoring and coaching
- Ensure health and safety is always adhered to in line with company policy
- Warranty material is kept labelled and returned to the warranty dept
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
- Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults have been reported and noted on the job cards
- Experience at a Service or Diagnostic Technician level, ideally within a main dealership
- Commercial or VAG main dealer experience would be an advantage
- Must hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, would consider an experienced Level 2
- Passion for all things mechanical

- Extensive product knowledge and diagnostic skills

- Professional and courteous manner
- You must hold a full driving license to be considered for this role
