Breeze House Designs Ltd is a leading manufacturer of premium made-to-measure textile products. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our production team in Leek, Staffordshire.

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke textile products using industrial sewing machines, ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

What you will be doing:

  • Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture made-to-measure textile products.
  • Reading and interpreting job sheets and production specifications.
  • Measuring, preparing and sewing fabrics accurately.
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Reporting any quality issues, damaged materials or machine faults.
  • Carrying out basic cleaning and maintenance of sewing equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
  • Working efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.
  • Following company procedures and health & safety requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
