Relief HGV Driver – Huntingdon Area
Are you an experienced driver looking for variety, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a supportive team? We’re seeking a Relief HGV Driver to join our South East based operation, delivering concrete, coated asphalt, and aggregates across the South East of England.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll provide cover for driver absences, including holidays, sickness, and training, while working alongside a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment.
We’ll provide full training on our products to help you build your knowledge and confidence. You’ll also enjoy working with a range of stakeholders – from our internal Distribution Team to external customers – building strong, professional relationships along the way.
What you\’ll be doing
- Delivering products safely, efficiently, and in line with industry regulations
- Working closely with the Area Transport Manager
- Maintaining our high standards in Health, Safety, and Environmental management
What we are looking for
- Previous HGV driving experience, ideally within the construction industry
- A valid Class C License and current Driver CPC
- A hard-working, flexible, and “can-do” attitude
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
