The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The role will provide surfacing supervision services to key Airfield Surfacing projects being delivered across Great Britain by Breedon Surfacing Solutions. The role will ensure that the asphalt surfacing works are delivered, safely, to time, cost, and quality requirements.
The role holder will need to lead the surfacing squads in the delivery of the surfacing works on commercial and military Airfields across GB, demonstrating excellent operational organisational skills and control to ensure the successful delivery of the projects surfacing objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that works are carried out in a safe manner with due regard for the public, customers, and other site employees.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification.
- Direct individual foremen, planning future workload to meet targets.
- Assist Managers in developing staff.
- Assist employees to understand the requirements of their job.
- Place timely and accurate orders for materials and plant to ensure efficient production balancing cost against client value and adherence to standards.
- Ensure that accurate site records are maintained by the site team.
- Manage the plant and equipment requirements, ensuring it is procured in good time for the work, used in a correct manner, maintained in accordance with company requirements and removed from site when not required.
