Apprentice Electrical Maintenance Technician – join a team supporting quarry site production while pursuing a Level 3 Advanced Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship. This role involves practical, hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance to uphold site operations and equipment availability.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle, examine, replace, and reassemble mechanical and electrical systems and components.
- Service and maintain equipment across the site.
- Work with a range of machinery and systems, including outdoor and challenging environments.
- Learn and develop to become a qualified electrical maintenance technician, with opportunities to progress into area and management roles.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (any subjects) with minimum grade 4; English and Maths are preferred (English 4, Maths 6/B).
- Science (minimum grade 4).
- Communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, problem solving, numerical skills, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, team work, initiative, and patience.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; readiness to engage in hands-on, practical tasks.

- Maintenance and operations engineering technician level 3
- Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
- Start date: to be confirmed

What You’ll Do At Work
Spend most of your apprenticeship on the job, learning through hands-on experience while you study. You will be paid to go to college and earn as you learn, with full company funding for qualifications and training.
