Position Overview:
We are seeking a General Operative to join our team at our concrete plant at RT Mycock, Buxton, Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers to wheel barrow concrete from volumetric mixer to desired location
- Support the concrete plant supervisor with the running of the plant, specifically with the production of the concrete blocks.
- General maintenance and housekeeping of the site, to a high standard and actively identifying and implementing site improvements.
- You will ensure that concrete orders are dispatched to meet customer requirements and conduct administration tasks.
- You will be required to be flexible in duties undertaken, carrying out other tasks on this site or at other sites in the area

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with our drivers and other colleagues are all important.
- It would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar role before and have a good understanding of production in a concrete plant, however full training will be provided.
