We\’re seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to become an integral part of our team at Billingham. Reporting to the Asphalt Plant Manager, this role is key to our operations, focusing on batching asphalt, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch asphalt and conduct general maintenance of the asphalt plant.
- Operate a loading shovel and weighbridge, adhering to safety and operational procedures.
- Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the site, promoting our safety culture.
- Operate systems according to established procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience within an asphalt plant is beneficial.
- A positive attitude towards health and safety.

- Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Please note: This role may require some night working.
