Position Overview: The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the workshop, ensuring all vehicle maintenance, inspections and repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. The role leads the workshop team, allocates workloads, maintains compliance with DVSA and company standards, and supports the delivery of a reliable fleet through effective planning, coaching and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of workshop technicians, allocating work to ensure maintenance schedules and operational priorities are achieved.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with company Health Safety policies and DVSA requirements.
- Carry out or oversee vehicle inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs to ensure the fleet remains roadworthy and compliant.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and quality assurance to workshop staff.
