Position Overview:
We're seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to become an integral part of our team at Cardiff. Reporting to the Asphalt Plant Manager, this role is key to our operations, focusing on batching asphalt, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch asphalt and conduct general house keeping of the asphalt plant.
- Operate a Dumper Truck, Loading Shovel and weighbridge, adhering to safety and operational procedures.
- Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the site, promoting our safety culture.
- Operate systems according to established procedures.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous experience within an asphalt plant is beneficial.
- A positive attitude towards health and safety.
- Flexibility and adaptability in your work approach.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Please note: This role may require some night and weekend working.
