Job Description As an Electrical Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role within our Maintenance and Reliability Team, ensuring that electrical maintenance activities are planned and coordinated effectively to maximise plant reliability, performance and safety. You will be responsible for developing and scheduling medium and long-term electrical maintenance plans, including preventative maintenance, major repairs and shutdown activities, supporting the site's proactive maintenance strategy. Working closely with maintenance, operations and stores teams, you will ensure that resources, materials and critical spare parts are available to enable work to be completed safely, efficiently and on time. Ensure safe working practices are followed by employees and contractors. Manage contractors in line with CDM requirements and site procedures. Plan and schedule preventative, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance activities using IBM Maximo CMMS. Lead maintenance planning for major repairs, plant shutdowns and power outages. To support the wider Electrical Engineering team in the management of Low voltage & High Voltage permit to work during major repairs. Manage critical spare parts and support effective asset management strategies. Create and maintain maintenance job plans and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support equipment reliability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to the planning and delivery of electrical CAPEX projects. Support maintenance budget planning and cost control. Manage external maintenance service agreements. Work closely with Maintenance, Reliability and Operations teams to prioritise and schedule maintenance activities. HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and reliability-centred maintenance principles. Experience using a CMMS, ideally IBM Maximo. Experience planning major repairs, shutdowns and maintenance projects. Knowledge of contractor management and health and safety legislation. Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project experience desirable.
