Location: Longwater Asphalt Plant, Norfolk

As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our customer interactions, handling inbound enquiries, providing essential admin support to the Distribution team, external sales and Transport team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service. You'll collaborate closely with our distribution and shipping team, managing customer orders and offering support over the phone. Your professionalism and dedication will shine as you represent the Breedon brand, delivering excellent service and building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day‑to‑day operational support to Shipping and Weighbridge staff.
  • Liaising with our material supplier, Stema, to manage and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Starting early each day with the Asphalt team to ensure phone lines are covered and proactive support is provided to our customers.
  • Providing a link between BSS, Galliford Try & GB Materials.
  • Focused on balancing existing customers and the demands of the A47.
  • Working with the transport team to ensure we have adequate trucks and drivers to meet requirements.
  • Dealing with haulier queries.
  • Manage sales enquiries.
  • Ensure phones are answered in a timely manner and enquiries are suitably recorded for all products.
  • Handle telephone and email orders to and from customers.
  • Manage EPOD paper ticket process, ensuring daily checks are made via podfather for any outstanding tickets and chase the plants where and when needed to ensure the tickets are sent via the post.
  • Process unallocated EPOD tickets on a daily basis.
  • Process OOH and day rate payments for tippers used in the area as & when needed.
  • Raise daily asphalt charges for any returned/dumped loads to ensure the customer is charged, cross referencing with planning if charges are needed 1st.
  • Raise and pay any hauliers from the returned asphalt report.
  • Check docket log daily for any quantities or prices which look incorrect.
  • Record Refused & cancelled orders for RMX on Excalibur.
