We are currently seeking Traffic Management (TM) Operators to join our Alba Traffic Management team based from the Newburgh, Fife area. The TM Operative will be responsible for installing, maintaining and removing all types of Temporary Traffic Management equipment such as cones, signs, frames, sandbags and traffic lights on both high and low-speed roads whilst ensuring compliance with all Company Policies and the relevant National Highways Sector Scheme.
You will have a flexible, proactive and an energetic “hands on” approach to work as the job can be physically demanding. You will also have the ability to anticipate problems and consider a solution and the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with colleagues on both a formal and informal level. You will be required to work shifts (evenings/nightshift/weekends) and although overtime is not guaranteed, you will be required to work additional hours where necessary. You may also be required to be on-call.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
You will be a highly motivated with experience of working on the highways, preferably with knowledge of the construction industry. Lantra approved 12D or 12 A/B qualifications are desirable, but training and development will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude. A Full UK Clean Drivers Licence is essential with an HGV Licence being an advantage.
