Description
As a Mobile Plant Maintenance Technician, you embody the spirit of teamwork and hold our colleagues in high regard. You possess a calm and adaptable nature, thriving on the exhilarating challenge of maintaining and servicing a diverse range of plant and tools within our fleet. The prospect of participating in the selection of new plant based on recommendations and devising a meticulous maintenance plan to prevent breakdowns fills you with excitement.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our surfacing squads, preventing costs from escalating. The essence of this position lies in prioritising maintenance and problem-solving by engaging with the teams and appreciating the value our colleagues bring.
You are not one to shy away from getting involved and working in all weather conditions and are not looking for a typical 9 to 5 weekday-only job.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take charge of tasks such as troubleshooting, procuring parts, and maintaining machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also involve monitoring job sheets and ensuring utmost customer satisfaction.
To excel in this role, you must have exceptional communication skills to liaise closely with the wider plant team and customers. You must possess the qualities of a team player who remains composed under pressure and be adaptable to change.
