Overview
We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Operator to join our team at Temple Quarry. As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be primarily responsible for the safe loading of lorries and stockpile.
What we need from you…
- To comply with all Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and policies
- To operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- To perform or assist with preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections, repair and/or clean equipment as required
- Load lorries and ensure stockpiles are at the correct levels
- To support the housekeeping of plant, equipment, and site
- To comprehend and complete paperwork associated with this role in a timely and accurate manner
- To undertake any other duties within the quarry reasonably requested in support of site operations
Essential Criteria
- Previous knowledge and experience of working with plant and equipment in a construction environment.
- Ability to operate mobile plant
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs – to include early, late and weekend shifts
- Ability to multi-task
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge and/or experience of operating within a quarry environment.
- Mechanical, hands-on background
