As a Transport Planner (Customer Service) based at our office in Spennymoor, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment alongside a close-knit group of colleagues. You will demonstrate confidence in handling challenges, making prompt and informed decisions while maintaining a consistently positive and professional approach. Your role will involve liaising with clients and collaborating with our sales, operations and transport colleagues coordinating product deliveries, ensuring each day brings a varied and dynamic workload.

As our next Transport Planner, you’ll be the first point of contact for all sales and distribution queries and be responsible for the skillful and efficient delivery of products from our Quarries, asphalt and concrete plants across the Region, whilst placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential)
  • Experience in transport planning and can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage
  • A hard-working approach with a can do attitude
