We are currently seeking a Plant Supervisor at our Grimsby Concrete Plant. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on person to join our team. As a Supervisor, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own site and play a key role in our concrete production, ensuring the site operates smoothly to meet customer needs.
If successful, you’ll join a regional team and report to the Production Manager. The role involves working 48 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. Flexibility is required to meet business demands.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be batching concrete. You will also help ensure the site is kept clean, tidy, and safe, working with our wider team. Regular communication with distribution teams and hauliers is essential to meet customer needs.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience in roles such as asphalt, aggregates, concrete, cement, quarrying, or mining
- Hardworking, reliable, and professional with good communication skills
- NVQ Wheeled Loading Shovel licence is desirable; full training will be provided
- Experience working in environments where Health and Safety is a priority
