We’re looking for an Apprentice Customer Service Agent to join our Building Products team. This is a paid, full-time role where you’ll gain Level 2 and Level 3 Customer Service qualifications, fully funded by us, while learning on the job.
You’ll work in a small, supportive team, speaking to customers, processing orders, solving problems, and building confidence every day.
Breedon is the largest independent construction materials group in the UK, but we still work in close-knit teams where people support each other.
You won’t be treated like “just an apprentice” here. You’ll be part of the team from day one.
What you’ll be doing:
- Speaking to customers and helping with orders and enquiries
- Supporting sales and customer service teams
- Learning how a large, successful business works
- Building skills you can use for life (communication, organisation, problem solving)
- Gaining real responsibility — with support always available
Where could this take you?
Our apprentices often go on to roles in customer service, sales, operations and management. Some of our current team leaders and specialists started exactly where you are now — unsure of their next step — and are now building successful careers with us.
Who this role is for:
You might be right for this if you:
- Have GCSE Maths & English (grade 4 or above)
- Like working with people
- Enjoy variety and learning new things
- Want a stable job with future opportunities
- Are ready to start a career, not just a job
If you like doing the same thing every day, this probably isn’t for you. But if you enjoy getting stuck in, helping people, and seeing the results of your work — you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll get:
- A competitive salary (well above the national apprentice minimum)
- Fully funded Level 2 & 3 Customer Service qualifications
- 40-hour week, Monday–Friday (no shifts, nights or weekends)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension, life assurance & Share Saver scheme
- All equipment provided
- Support from a dedicated team and fellow apprentices
- Clear pathways into permanent roles and progression
