The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Regional Programme & Resource Manager, the successful applicant will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team. Liaising with our Surfacing Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring all items of Plant have sufficient fuel to carry out their requirements. Successful candidates will be responsible for logging all fuel deliveries to each individual item of Plant as well as delivering Ad Blue and various store items to our squads on site across Scotland. Breedon carry out surfacing in a wide range of sectors including major infrastructure for highways, housing, industrial and environmental.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively liaise with internal staff & external stakeholders.
- Accurate recording, organisation and storage of the goods, deliveries to site and returning from site to the stores.
- Accurate despatching of goods to site when required.
- Regular review of goods stored for stock check.
- Accepting deliveries of site consumables and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Manage and maintain equipment within the stores.
- Maintaining a high level of tidiness in the stores.
- Delivery / collection of consumables and equipment to and from site.
- Ensuring maintenance and appearance of delivery vehicle is kept to a high standard.
- Carry out daily checks and maintain equipment / plant.
- Carry out work in accordance with company Health and Safety rules.
- Ensure staff within the stores are wearing the relevant PPE and have been inducted.
- Assisting the Plant Maintenance Technician when required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- CSCS Qualification (desirable)
- NEBOSH (desirable)
- HGV Licence (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Computer Literate
- Ability to multi-task
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Mobility, flexibility and commitment
- Relevant experience in managing a stores environment.
- Awareness and ability to implement Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
