We’re looking for a Graphic & Motion Designer to create high-quality visual work that helps Breathe and Rotageek show up in a compelling and distinctive way across the HR and workforce management SaaS markets. This role is all about bringing our brands to life through standout creative, with a particular focus on motion design and video-led storytelling.

This role sits at the heart of how our brands look, feel and perform. You’ll be a strong individual contributor who leads on design asset production across digital channels, combines strong brand and static design craft with a scalable approach to creative production, and acts as a trusted partner to fellow marketeers. You’ll also use AI confidently and responsibly to streamline lower-complexity creative tasks and improve workflow efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Motion and video: Leading motion design and video editing; creating motion-led assets across brand, campaign, product and social content that improve storytelling, clarity, engagement and performance. Producing animated explainers, social cutdowns and lightweight video formats suited to social channels including LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Supporting filming, content capture and shoot planning where needed. Identifying where video and motion can add the most value, then prioritising and producing assets accordingly.
  • Brand and campaign design: Creating high-quality visual assets across digital channels, including paid social, organic social, web, email, presentations, landing pages, sales materials, customer resources and campaign assets. Producing static design work that is clear, distinctive, on-brand and appropriate to channel and audience. Contributing to campaign, launch and always-on brand activity through strong creative concept development. Helping maintain visual consistency across Breathe and Rotageek, applying brand standards with judgement rather than rigidity. Supporting understanding of and adherence to internal brand standards across the business. Adapting, improving and updating existing collateral and brand guidelines as business and campaign needs change. Making sure creative work supports wider marketing and business goals, including user experience and conversion.
  • Systems and self-serve enablement: Creating templates, reusable assets and practical design systems that help internal teams self-serve for simpler creative needs. Making it easy for non-design colleagues to create simple branded assets safely and efficiently. Using AI tools confidently and responsibly to support ideation, repurposing, production support, automation and lower-complexity creative tasks. Maintaining organised asset libraries, templates and working files so the wider business can easily find and use what it needs.
  • Collaboration and workflow: Working closely with colleagues across marketing and other teams to bring briefs to life in a way that supports business priorities. Asking the right questions, challenging constructively where needed, and turning briefs into effective creative outputs. Explaining decisions well to stakeholders and incorporating feedback thoughtfully. Managing multiple projects at once, prioritising effectively and delivering to deadline. Keeping up with developments in motion, video, creative tooling and AI-enabled production, and bringing a test-and-learn mindset to new ways of working.

Key Competencies & Behaviours

  • You Start with People: You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and create work that helps colleagues and customers engage with our brands more effectively.
  • You Own It, Together: You’re proactive, solutions-oriented and happy working independently while partnering closely with others to get great work over the line.
  • You believe that Clear Is Kind: You can explain creative rationale clearly, give thoughtful feedback, and challenge constructively when a brief needs sharpening.
  • You’ve got strong creative craft: You bring excellent graphic design fundamentals across layout, hierarchy, typography, colour and composition.
  • You know motion and video: You have strong motion design and video editing skills and understand how to use them to tell sharper, more engaging stories.
  • You’ve got sharp brand judgement: You have a strong eye for quality, in-market distinctiveness and in-house consistency.
  • You design for digital-first channels: You know how to create assets that work natively across digital platforms and marketing channels.
  • You know your tools: You’re confident using Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro, and you know when tools like Canva and template-based platforms are the right fit.
  • You use AI responsibly: You’re comfortable using AI tools to support design production and workflow efficiency without compromising brand integrity.
  • You’re organised and adaptable: You can manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and balance responsiveness with quality and strategic judgement.
  • You bring curiosity and initiative: You’re always looking for better ways to work, keen to experiment, and interested in emerging tools, formats and creative possibilities.
  • You care about impact: You’re detail-oriented without losing sight of pace, commercial goals and the bigger business picture.
