  • Marketing Assistant , working closely with our

Head of Marketing .

In this role you will play a key part helping to deliver effective campaigns, create engaging content, and ensuring the smooth execution of all marketing activities.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to help support the Marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, aligned with the Bell Lamb & Joynson brand and tone of voice.
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy, preparing content and tracking performance.
  • Help coordinate events, networking activity and promotional initiatives across the firm. Maintain and update marketing materials such as website content banners, and brochures.
  • Write and support blog content in line with the firm’s marketing and SEO strategy.
  • Support PR activity, including drafting press releases and assisting with media opportunities.
  • Work with external suppliers, including our SEO agency, to support agreed marketing activity and priorities.
  • Monitor analytics, including Google Analytics and Google Business Profiles, and help prepare reports on performance and engagement.
  • Support review generation activity, monitoring processes and helping ensure review requests are being sent correctly.
  • Design promotional materials such as flyers, posters and other marketing assets.
  • Support basic photography and video content for marketing and social media use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the firm to ensure marketing activity supports each department appropriately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in producing content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • A basic understanding of digital marketing tools, including email marketing software and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel between offices and attend events and networking activities as required

  • Experience using graphic design tools such as Canva
  • Confidence working with website content and making basic updates using a content management system.
  • A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and presentation.
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • A proactive approach, with confidence to manage priorities and ask questions when needed.
