As a Technical Producer at Secret Mode, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You will be serving as the critical link between the publisher’s commercial strategy and the studio’s technical execution. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless delivery of high-quality content across our entire portfolio, ranging from ambitious new DLC and platform ports to the long-term maintenance of our core code assets. This is a high-impact position that sits at the intersection of production, engineering, and publishing.

You will own the delivery schedules for our internal teams and external partners, ensuring that every project – whether a seasonal live‑ops update or a complex console port – meets our rigorous standards for performance, stability, and player satisfaction. As a Technical Producer, you don’t just track tasks; you manage technical risk, optimise delivery pipelines, and champion the Technical Playbook that allows our studio to scale organically. You will operate with significant autonomy, acting as a trusted advisor to publishing stakeholders and a primary coordinator for external development teams, ensuring our studio remains a centre of excellence for technical launch readiness and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
  • Own and synchronize delivery schedules between internal engineering teams, external partner studios, and art outsource networks.
  • Act as the primary production contact for one or more projects, maintaining strong, collaborative, and trusted relationships with all key stakeholders, from external developers to internal publishing leadership.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the core development teams and internal departments (QA, Marketing, Localisation, etc.), ensuring total alignment across the publishing lifecycle and preventing operational silos.
  • Oversee project milestones from concept to submission, coordinate feedback, and provide clear reports to leadership.
  • Work with the Technical Director to manage the studio’s resource profile and project pipelines.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, working with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support live release management including patches, updates, and DLC.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for technical standards.
  • Act as the primary link between creative teams and publishing stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of production experience in the games industry, with at least one shipped title.
  • Technical literacy; you don’t need to write code, but you must speak the language.
  • Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle stages and production methodologies.
  • Experience creating and maintaining schedules, budgets, and milestone plans.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across disciplines and departments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative, positive approach that builds trust with colleagues and external partners.
Nice to have
  • Experience with console submissions and certification processes.
  • Familiarity with localisation pipelines.
  • Previous experience in games publishing.
