Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager with broad marketing experience to help drive customer growth, engagement, and retention across two established prepaid card brands – Caxton Travel Money Card and Nimbl Pocket Money Card – as well as support the launch of our new Travel Extras offering (including airport taxis, lounges, and parking).
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working across a mix of digital marketing activities, with a particular focus on performance marketing, email/lifecycle campaigns and content execution. You’ll be working closely with the wider marketing and product teams to deliver campaigns that make a real commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand and content marketing
· Write compelling copy tailored to varied audiences – parents, kids, travellers, retirees.
· Plan and deliver creative marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions to boost customer action and engagement.
· Oversee social media content creation using Canva, aligned to brand strategy and calendar.
· Refresh and manage website content to ensure relevance, clarity, and conversion.
· Support the launch and ongoing promotion of Caxton’s new Travel Extras service. Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to embed Travel Extras into the customer journey.
Marketing automation and lifecycle campaigns
· Plan and run digital campaigns to support customer acquisition and retention.
· Manage and optimise lifecycle marketing programmes using HubSpot, targeting key stages like onboarding, usage, and re-engagement.
· Set up and send segmented email campaigns, tracking performance and improving engagement over time.
· Support efforts to reduce churn and increase customer value through timely and relevant communications.
Reporting and strategy
· Plan, track, and report on monthly marketing performance across all key channels.
· Test and optimise messaging and campaigns to improve performance and ROI.
· Stay on top of trends in content, automation, and digital engagement to drive innovation.
General and ad hoc
· Work autonomously and collaboratively with the wider marketing and product teams.
· Manage content and creative through approval workflows as needed.
· Contribute to ad hoc projects that help scale our brand visibility and customer engagement.
What we’re looking for:
· Solid marketing experience, ideally across both acquisition and retention channels.
· Comfortable using marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred).
· Confident managing and improving email marketing campaigns.
· Good understanding of digital marketing principles and how to measure success.
· Comfortable using tools like Canva or similar for simple design tasks.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· A practical, get-things-done mindset with a willingness to learn.
· Available to work from our London office at least 2 days per week.
· Play a leading role in the growth of two exciting prepaid card brands and a new travel services offering.
· Flexibility to shape your work week – 2 days per week (or more if you wish) in the office with hybrid working.
· Experience of an fast moving e-commerce brand and an energised, collaborative culture.
