Are you an experienced fire protection professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Passive Fire Protection Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring safety and compliance across our projects.

In this role, you will conduct site surveys, identify and rectify fire-stopping deficiencies, and ensure all remedial work meets British Standards and third-party certification requirements. Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily vehicle inspections via Big Change and report any defects.
  • Survey future projects and generate full reports using online tools (Flow).
  • Maintain clear communication with site contacts and office teams throughout each job.
  • Follow company processes for job commencement, including method statements and DRAMs.
  • Install and remediate passive fire protection systems, including fire damper replacement, ductwork modifications, and fire stopping.
  • Identify and communicate scope variances promptly.
  • Ensure all remedial works comply with current regulations and certification standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Complete service reports and post-clean/testing reports before leaving site.
  • Attend monthly engineering meetings and complete all compulsory training.

Essential:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in the Fire Protection Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and British Standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (if applicable).
  • Understanding of asset compliance and lifecycle management.
  • Experience using CAFM systems such as Big Change and Flow.
