Provide clinical leadership for the Physiotherapy service within Pace School. The Lead PT holds discipline‑specific clinical authority across the physiotherapy team, ensuring the delivery of a flexible, evidence‑based and highly specialist physiotherapy service for children with complex neurodevelopmental needs. The post holder carries a one‑class caseload to protect time for supervision, professional oversight and clinical leadership within the PT team. They are the primary clinical escalation point for all PT staff at Pace School, reporting to and working in close partnership with the Head of School Therapy.

The role requires expert clinical reasoning in paediatric physiotherapy, the ability to adapt and integrate conventional physiotherapy strategies within Pace’s broad integrated school curriculum, and the capacity to lead and develop a discipline team within the Conductive Education‑informed, transdisciplinary model. The post holder is expected to demonstrate and maintain the competencies described for Band 7, including engagement in supervision, reflective practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
