Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of accounts, ensuring clarity on team responsibilities, and lead internal meetings and client calls.
- Oversee and motivate a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high standards in work by leveraging the teams expertise.
- Lead internal meetings, managing workloads, responsibilities, and account tasks with minimal supervision.
- Develop relationships with client team members and confidently respond to client and team requests, ensuring timely and accurate correspondence.
- Staff media interviews and briefings, providing feedback to clients.
- Coordinate media announcements, oversee material drafting and pitching, and secure media coverage for clients.
- Monitor media trends and social conversations to uncover news trends and regularly share new ideas with clients.
- Consistently produce work that demonstrates strategic thinking, accuracy, and creativity, embedding efficiencies in working practices such as the use of AI tools.
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities and seek out aspects of clients’ business for organic growth.
- Contribute to Statements of Work (SOW) and new business proposals, ensuring a balance of profitability and appropriate service levels.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience working within a communications agency or in a communications role.
- Ability to direct and motivate a team, with strong oversight capabilities for managing workloads and responsibilities.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft engaging, fit‑for‑purpose copy and a good email and phone manner with journalists.
- Confidence in client presentations, media interactions and building relationships.
- Ability to produce work that demonstrates accuracy, creativity, and strategic insight.
- Capacity to identify opportunities and risks within the client’s business sector.
- Strong understanding of media relations, including pitching and securing coverage.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of media trends, social conversations, and industry developments.
- Confident using AI, monitoring and other tools, to improve quality and efficiency in work.
- Ability to think ahead and proactively drive workstreams.
