Location: Aylesbury

Salary: £36,454 – 43,897 (Full time equivalent). Actual term time salary: £31,967 – 38,494.

Responsibilities:

  • Occupational Therapist for our Child and Family Services - full time, part time considered for the right candidate.
  • Deliver occupational therapy assessment, intervention and support as part of a transdisciplinary team to children 0-18 and their families.
  • Collaborate with team members, service users, carers and communities to ensure that collaboration underpins the development of new initiatives, teaching and research activity undertaken by Pace child and family service.
  • Participate fully in the child and family therapy team to develop Pace’s early intervention work with babies and toddlers into a world class service that can demonstrate transformational outcomes for children under the age of three.
  • Participate in the child and family therapy team’s work to support primary age children to access their mainstream education placements.

Qualifications:

  • HCPC registered OT with strong paediatric experience.
  • Willingness and interest in developing skills in sensory processing and sensory based interventions and the physical facilitation of movement and posture.
