Bathshack are looking for a new Whirlpool Manufacturing Technician based in our Antrim Offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and testing of whirlpool baths and other items at our facility in Antrim. Full training will be provided. We are seeking candidates with a good understanding of plumbing and repair work who can work with minimal supervision. The role may also suit persons with experience of car body repair or spray finishing.
What you'll be doing
- Installation of whirlpool systems to baths, including marking out baths and drilling holes for jets.
- Installation of electric pumps and testing of whirlpool systems to ensure they pass quality control before dispatch.
- Wrapping/packing of baths for safe delivery.
- Managing whirlpool system stocks to ensure we have the right amount and type of components in stock to complete installations.
- Liaising with purchasing/supply chain to order required components.
Bath Repair and other duties
- Repair of damaged acrylic baths.
- Acrylic repair to include isopon crack repair, sanding, buffing and painting.
- Other ad hoc manufacturing duties may be required.
- Warehousing duties.
- Keeping whirlpool manufacturing area and tools clean, tidy and safe.
- Reporting any breakages or concerns to team leads.
About you
- A basic knowledge of plumbing would be preferred.
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising own workload.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Demonstrates willingness to solve problems.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Happy working in a warehouse environment.
