We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding and fabrication techniques.

Duties

  • Perform MIG & ARC & TIG welding
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations

Experience

  • Proven experience with MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
  • Previous experience working with welding in industrial or manufacturing settings is essential
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Pay

£16.50 per hour

Hours

Monday to Thursday 7.30 am - 16.00 pm, Friday 7.30 am - 15.00 pm, Overtime Saturday and Sunday when necessary
