We are working with a leading payments technology company building next generation SoftPOS and mobile payment solutions used globally. They are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to work directly with customers across EMEA, owning solution design, integrations and delivery. The role will likely move into a Lead role to manage a small team. This role sits between customer engagement, technical design and hands-on implementation.

What you will be doing:

  • Working directly with customers to design and deliver payment solutions
  • Owning end-to-end integrations across SoftPOS, POS and payment platforms
  • Leading implementations, onboarding and deployments
  • Acting as the technical owner for customer solutions
  • Supporting EMV flows and certification processes (MTIP, ADVT)
  • Integrating with acquirers, PSPs and payment gateways
  • Troubleshooting real-world issues across systems, devices and APIs

Technical / hands-on expectations (IMPORTANT):

  • Ability to debug and support integrations hands-on
  • Comfortable working with: APIs and system integrations, Data flows and transaction debugging
  • Ability to write or adapt scripts where needed: Python, SQL or JavaScript (or similar)

This is not a pure development role, but you must be technical enough to build, test and troubleshoot solutions directly.
