Analytical Consultant – Data-Driven Strategy & Client Services
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + training and career development
We’re hiring an Analytics Consultant to join a fast-growing team working with leading global FMCG brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working closely with clients, and leveraging data to drive real-world commercial decisions.
This is not a technical role but you’ll need to be comfortable working with computers and explaining complex concepts clearly to clients. Full training is provided, and you’ll be supported by a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support household-name clients in optimising their field sales operations – including territory planning, route efficiency, and workforce distribution. Using mapping tools and optimisation software, you’ll deliver practical insights that reduce costs and support
sustainability.
This includes:
- Delivering client projects focused on route planning and territory optimisation
- Building trusted client relationships and handling day-to-day queries
- Supporting and training clients on how to use the companies software tools (you’ll be fully trained first)
- Producing clear, helpful guides, presentations, and training materials
- Collaborating with the wider consulting and technical teams to solve client challenges
- Contributing ideas to internal innovation and development sessions
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-educated, ideally in a numerate or spatial discipline (e.g. geography, data science)
- Experience working with clients or end-users
- A logical, analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and able to learn new tools quickly (GIS experience is a bonus)
- Strong written and verbal communication – especially simplifying technical topics
- A proactive, conscientious team player with a growth mindset
