Job description: Business Development Officer
£25,000 + OTE up to £11,000 + Annual Bonus
Starting Date: 6th January 2025
This is a hybrid job that involves office working, remote working (2:3)
Breakthrough Global is a cultural transformation company in central London. We are looking for a new Business Development Officer to join our small, high-energy and dedicated team. Our clients are exclusively £500m+ revenue companies and you will be working directly with their Executive and Leadership teams and direct reports. IN THE ROLE YOU WILL
- Prospect research and outreach: finding new clients for the business and engaging with them
- Research: do extensive research on getting new leads, nurturing them and converting into clients
- Client relationship management: managing current and creating potential client relationships to the benefit of Breakthrough Global
- Event planning: Industry-specific research, networking and relationship building events to source leads and converting them into clients
- Proofing: proposals, reports and marketing materials
- CEO calendar management: ad hoc management of the CEO’s calendar
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate and align with Marketing & Programme teams to ensure quarterly company targets are in unison
- Prospect calls: Attend meetings along with another Breakthrough team member during first calls to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships, especially with the members of the client\’s executive teams
- Meet monthly targets and create client-specific briefs and project timelines
- Competently use our CRM and campaign system
- Utilise LinkedIn and Sales Navigator to curate leads
- Be the face of Breakthrough in all your interactions with potential clients and generate business
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
- Has a minimum of 1.5 years of proven B2B sales experience
- Is tech-confident and comfortable working with various online platforms (CRM software, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, G-drive)
- Demonstrates excellent client management skills
- Is organised and detail-oriented, and is able to inspire this focus in others
- Is innovative with an eye for improving existing sales processes
- Demonstrates a strong interest in health and well-being, individual and business development
- Focuses on the ‘big picture’ (the outcome rather than tasks) and how your individual tasks contribute to the client’s long-term development
