Overview
Break has over 50 charity shops in East Anglia and the West Country, operating since 1968. The income from the charity shops is vital to the development and continuation of the services we provide for children, young people and families. We pride ourselves on selling good quality donated goods at affordable prices. We operate a recycling system, so every donation is put to good use, generating more income.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced retailer with great people skills, who is confident working in a fast-paced environment. You will be organised, driven and proactive with a hands-on approach to a varied and busy workload to manage our established shop in Long Stratton, Norfolk.
Responsibilities
- As Retail Manager, you’ll be responsible for hitting the sales targets set, so you’ll also need to have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of staff and volunteers.
- Great customer service is essential to maximise income, as is sourcing and merchandising stock.
- You will have the ability to manage a team of volunteers/staff, handle cash and have an understanding of a retail environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in charity retailing is advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
