Hours: Bank/Relief hours (including evenings and weekend)

About the Role
Looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? As a Relief Support Worker, you can choose shifts that suit your availability while making a real difference in the lives of children and young people in care.
Some young people have experienced significant trauma and need additional, individualised support to help them feel safe, secure and understood. Break’s solo children’s homes provide a nurturing environment where young people receive the dedicated care, attention and therapeutic support they need to thrive.
With patience, empathy and consistency, you’ll be a positive role model, helping young people rebuild their confidence, develop trusting relationships with adults and begin to overcome the challenges they’ve faced. Working alongside a supportive team and Break’s therapeutic services, you’ll help create an environment where every young person feels valued, listened to and encouraged to be themselves.
You’ll support young people to try new experiences, discover their interests, develop their own identity and build the confidence and independence they need to look forward to a brighter future.
You’ll need to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within the first 24 months of employment. Break will fully fund your qualification and provide support through its training team.
A full UK driving licence is preferred for this role.
