The Project: multi-million healthcare project

Overview: A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a large-scale multi-million healthcare project in Waterford, which includes a multi-storey extension onto an existing healthcare facility as well as substations, pumping stations, generator buildings and all associated site development works. The company has a huge pipeline of work in the Southeast promising long-term work in the area. This role will see you reporting directly into Senior Management which will help you progress your career to the next level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with an Irish Main Contractor
  • Strong experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly within healthcare or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring project progression in line with agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the project is delivered within budget and schedule.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers on site.

The Package: An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of approx. €70,000 – €80,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension.
