They have a strong European operation and are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for their specialist scope on a major data centre development in Germany.
The Role: Senior Project Manager
As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of specialist lightning protection, earthing and surge protection systems on a major data centre project in Germany. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage programme, budgets, resources, subcontractors and client relationships from mobilisation through to final handover.
Must Have Requirements
- 4+ years’ project management experience within the electrical or construction industry.
- Proven experience managing projects from commencement through to handover.
- Strong experience managing programme, budgets, resources and subcontractors.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Data centre or mission-critical construction experience preferred.
- Lightning protection, earthing or surge protection experience highly desirable.
- Previous European project experience beneficial.
- German language skills advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the specialist electrical scope from mobilisation through to handover.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and resources.
- Manage programme, budgets, procurement and project documentation.
- Attend client, contractor and project coordination meetings.
- Monitor project progress, costs and change orders.
- Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
- Provide regular project and financial updates to senior management.
About You
You will be an experienced Senior Project Manager or Electrical Project Manager with strong construction knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to take ownership of project delivery. You should be confident managing clients, subcontractors and project teams while keeping works on programme and within budget.
