This established engineering contractor is a market leader in offsite modular MEP and commercial decarbonisation solutions, delivering innovative energy infrastructure projects throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in Mallusk, the business designs, manufactures and delivers prefabricated plantrooms, modular MEP systems, district heating solutions and energy centres for major commercial, healthcare, education and public sector developments.

The Role: Electrical Project Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the operational delivery of electrical installations within the company's offsite modular manufacturing facility and on live construction projects.

Working closely with engineering, design, procurement, quality and production teams, you will oversee electrical assembly programmes, subcontractor management, material procurement and project delivery from design through to installation and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to work within one of the fastest-growing sectors of the construction industry.

  • Must have previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering commercial electrical or MEP projects.
  • Strong background managing electrical subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience with procurement, material take-offs and project planning.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience within offsite modular construction or modern methods of construction.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Experience delivering prefabricated MEP or energy centre projects.
  • Strong understanding of production planning and programme management.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project delivery and resources.

  • Experience working with BIM or digital construction tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building technologies and decarbonisation projects.
  • Experience working within manufacturing or offsite production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of electrical packages across multiple offsite modular projects.
  • Lead electrical assembly teams and coordinate subcontractor activities.
  • Prepare electrical material take-offs and support procurement activities.
  • Develop project programmes and monitor delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Work closely with engineering, design and quality teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, RAMS and project compliance.
  • Attend project and client meetings to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure materials, labour and resources are available to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor KPIs and project performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects through to installation, commissioning and handover.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and operational performance.

About You

You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background delivering commercial electrical or MEP projects.

You enjoy leading teams, coordinating multiple workstreams and driving projects from design through manufacture and installation.

You are commercially aware, organised and capable of delivering high-quality projects within demanding programme deadlines.

Experience within offsite modular construction is highly desirable, although candidates with a strong commercial M&E background looking to move into this growing sector are also encouraged to apply.
