This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-regarded Irish Main Contractor with a strong reputation working on multiple high-quality projects across various sectors. The contractor is looking for a strong Senior Engineer on a major residential scheme in Co. Clare. This is a large-scale project with an established team already in place, giving you the chance to take real ownership of the project from the ground up. If you’re keen to progress your career with a main contractor that invests in CPD, training, and internal promotion, and you want to be involved from the early stages of a project right through to completion, this role will be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of setting out, surveying, and quality control for a large residential scheme
- Support the management of subcontractors and direct labour to ensure productivity and compliance
- Ensure works are delivered in line with the programme, drawings, specifications, and Building Regulations
- Drive QA/QC processes, inspections, and ITP sign-offs
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction-related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineer in Ireland
- Excellent setting-out and technical skills with a strong eye for detail
- Confident communicator who works well with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
